Time's up

The end of the season is upon us as we get kicked out of the arena by hockey and figure skating.
This happens to most leagues, and the struggle for space to practice is ongoing as most gyms that allow wheels are booked solid by ball hockey.
Also, since we have 2 leagues in this general area, we are calling places that have already been contacted by the other group, and well, they are less then kind when talking to us.
Then, miraculously, an Angel smiled down on my girls, and we found a spot. After a year of searching we found something larger the the Lions Club basement, not only more then twice the size, but cheap. 4 hours of practice for only $75.
This spot as well is rented by ball hockey, but they had spots left for us, so right now we will be at the lions club 2 days a week, and at the gym 1 night a week.
We are entering into a trial run with the venue, cause well you guessed it, it's at a church. So rule number 1, watch your language around the locals, rule 2, dress appropriately.
We need to establish a good relationship before we break out the fishnets and booty shorts. And well, we are grateful for the opportunity they are giving us, especially for the cost because we are now in squads, so that's 2 groups that need to practice, and we now each get 2 hours to do that in.
So we are all jumping for joy over our new spot, and hoping maybe we can get the spot 3 nights a week because a larger practice space means more pack drills, which make me and many others do a little happy dance.
This week, tonight actually also marks the beginning of my french course, we do not have pratice tonight, but as of Wednesday I will be running out of the school to get to the second most important thing in my life besides my family, Roller Derby. Who wouldn't want to spend time with those girls, they're awesome.
You're okay to Pixel.
